South Georgia Council Executive Board Passes Resolution on Youth Protection Training
The South Georgia Council, Boy Scouts of America Executive Board passed THIS RESOLUTION at the Annual Business Meeting held on February 23, 2016. Please take note and appropriate measures this calendar year to prevent your unit and any adults being impacted. This can have a major impact on your unit being able to be rechartered for 2017.

Albany Character Counts Dinner!   The annual Friends of Scouting event is fast approaching and the South GA Council is excited to have General Glenn Webster as our guest.   There is still room for additional guest, please see THE FLYER for additional details!
2017 National Scout Jamboree-Stand By List

Our leadership is in place and plans are progressing on this trip of a lifetime.  Visit for more information and your first step is to submit this this local form to hold your spot on our stand by list.  As of April 1st, both Troops are full.

Scout Adventures at Wild Adventures

Spend an adventurous weekend full of fun, friends and fellowship April 29-May 1, 2016 with Scouts of all ages!
