8 Rivers District: July 21, 6:30 pm First United Methodist

Alapaha District July 21, 6:30 pm Trinity Presbyterian Church, 3501 Bemiss Road, Valdosta.
We will begin our evening with dinner. There will be a packet for each unit containing a current roster and a detailed advancement report, along with event information and fliers particular to your program. Everyone in attendance will receive a hard copy of the council calendar, which will also be available online by July 22. Other handouts and information will be available related to training events and opportunities, service activities, Boy Scout Camporee, Cub Family Weekend and more.
Very important information will be shared and explained regarding 2 resolutions passed by the Executive Board earlier this year. One pertains to Youth Protection Training and our recharter process. The second involves our Cub Scout packs and fall recruitment.
CUB SCOUT LEADERS: It is critically important for at least ONE representative from your pack to be at this meeting. Based on the board resolution, if your pack is not trained in the new process for fall recruitment, helping you be ready for new kids in the fall, we cannot do a recruitment for your unit.
