OA Annual Banquet
Our annuel LLD (Lodge Leadership Development) will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Tifton. Mr. Nick Gladden is allowing us to use the Troop 62 room on the second floor of the Adult/Youth Building. We will get started at 9:00am. This is an extremely important event, especially for our elected officers. You will learn the duties of your office, expectations, and establish your goals for the coming year. I realize that Scouting events aren't mandatory, but if one event should be considered mandatory, this is it! After LLD we will go to Pit Stop BBQ, in Tifton to celebrate our past year of accomplishments and find out what's in store for 2022. Our fundraiser NOAC patch sets will be presented and made available to our lodge for $20.00 per set. After that they will be available to everyone at the cost of $25.00 per set. We will use the money earned to help supplement the cost of NOAC. There will be no upfront cost for the banquet as we will just order from the menu and everyone can have what they like. We will also be recognizing our Vigil members of 2021 as well as enstalling our elected officers. We will also take this time to recognize lodge members. The banquet will immediately follow our LLD. A light brunch will be provided at the LLD in order to save room for lupper at Pit Stop. We normally charge $15.00 for the banquet, and that will be more then enough to enjoy a fine meal.
