Safe Scouting Toolbox

The Safe Scouting Toolbox will serve as a centralized resource on the South Georgia Council website to support unit leaders, volunteers, and activity coordinators in planning and delivering safe, successful Scouting activities. This toolbox will strengthen awareness of safety expectations, promote consistent risk management practices, and make it easier for volunteers to find and use the resources needed to deliver a safe, high-quality Scouting program.

The page will include a link to the Guide to Safe Scouting, ensuring leaders have direct access to the most current national safety policies and guidelines published by the Boy Scouts of America. In addition, the Safe Scouting Toolbox will include links to documents, providing practical, council-approved resources that complement the Guide and help leaders apply safety principles at the unit and activity level.
