Distinguished Citizen's Dinner

About the Distinguished Citizen's Award Dinner

Honors individuals who have provided outstanding service to the community

The biennial Distinguished Citizen's Award is presented to individual community leaders who provide outstanding civic service to the community.

Those who receive the award are not necessarily Boy Scout volunteers, but rather individuals who personify what the Boy Scouts stand for – good citizenship, outstanding moral fiber with a dedication to others, and for living their lives by the Scout Oath and Law.

The recipient is honored at the Distinguished Citizen's Dinner; a black tie affair, which will be held at the Rainwater Conference Center on September 18, 2018 beginning at 6:00pm.

Who Attends?

Friends and associates of the honoree purchase corporate sponsorship packages and reserve tables at the event.  Individual tickets may be purchased for $150.

How can I get involved?

The event is run by members of our Executive Board with the support of a ticket sales committee and past honorees.
